United in Resilience: Supporting Los Angeles Communities Amid Wildfires

As wildfires continue to ravage Los Angeles County and surrounding areas, our hearts are with the many students, families, and communities impacted by this tragedy. With nearly half our team in Southern California, the Campaign for College Opportunity is filled with grief as we bear witness to the destruction that has displaced and disrupted so many lives. 

The amount of loss, on the heels of a pandemic and amidst national uncertainty, is difficult to comprehend. Yet, in these moments, we are defined by our resilience and collective commitment to rebuild. Angelenos, Californians, Americans, and people around the world are uniting in an outpouring of love and support for our Southern California community and especially our affected students. Resilience and an unbreakable spirit bond us and allow us to uplift one another despite tremendous loss. 

Our Los Angeles team remains safe and holds hope that the fires will be extinguished so that we can focus on the recovery that lies ahead.
